Affiliate terms
Last updated: October 19, 2026
Thanks for helping me spread the word about THE 24/7 EDITOR, Build Your Personal AI Video Editor. These terms explain how the affiliate program works. By joining, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t join.
1. Who runs this
The program is run by me, Alec Cuenca, through my store at aleccuenca.com. I track referrals myself, through my own website and store, and you can see your sales and earnings anytime on your private affiliate dashboard at aleccuenca.com/affiliates. Questions go to aleccuenca@gmail.com.
2. Who can join
Anyone can apply at join.aleccuenca.com/affiliates-apply. If you bought the course and apply with the email you used at checkout, you’re approved automatically and your links are emailed to you right away. I review every other application myself and can approve or decline anyone. I can also remove anyone who was approved automatically by mistake. You must be 18 or older.
3. Your link and how sales are tracked
You get a personal affiliate link and a private dashboard link once you’re approved. When someone clicks your affiliate link, their browser remembers it for 30 days (in the site’s storage, which works like a cookie). If they buy the course on that same device within those 30 days, the sale is yours.
A few things to know:
- If the buyer clicks another affiliate’s link after yours, the last link they clicked gets the sale.
- If the buyer clicks on one device and buys on another, uses a private browsing window, or clears the site’s data, the sale can’t be tracked, and I can’t pay on it.
- Buying the course through your own link doesn’t earn a commission.
4. What you earn
You earn a flat ₱1,000 for every course sale made through your link, whatever the course price is at the time. If a buyer paid less than ₱1,000 for the course, you earn what they paid. If I ever change the commission, I’ll email you first, and the change only applies to sales made after that.
There are no recruiting or "downline" commissions. You only earn on course sales made through your own link.
5. When and how you get paid
Each commission waits on your dashboard until the refund period in the course’s refund policy has passed. If the order was refunded or charged back, the commission is cancelled. Otherwise it’s approved.
I pay approved commissions once a month by GCash. Once you’re approved, email me your GCash name and number so I can pay you. I review every referred order, and I won’t pay on orders that look fake, self-made, or made in breach of these terms.
6. No discounts or coupons
The course is sold at one price, shown on the official sales page. Please don’t create, offer, or promise any discount, coupon, bonus, or price that isn’t on that page.
7. How to promote
I want people to buy because the course is right for them, not because they were pressured. So when you promote it, please follow these rules.
Always:
- Say it’s an affiliate link in every post, story, video, or message that includes it. For example: "affiliate link" or "I earn a commission if you buy through my link."
- Write the course name with its subtitle: THE 24/7 EDITOR, Build Your Personal AI Video Editor.
- Share only your own honest experience, or other people’s results with their permission.
Never:
- Promise income, earnings, or business results (for example "make ₱100K a month", "six figures", "quit your job").
- Promise what the course will do for someone beyond what the sales page says.
- Make up deadlines, countdowns, limited slots, or prices.
- Pretend to be me, speak for me, or make promises on my behalf.
- Say or suggest that the course is made, approved, or endorsed by Anthropic or Claude. It’s an independent course.
- Run paid ads using my name, "THE 24/7 EDITOR", or "The Stay-At-Home CEO", or send ads straight to your affiliate link, unless I say yes in writing first.
- Spam people, buy followers or clicks, or post your link where it isn’t allowed.
8. Photos, videos, and other materials
You can use any images, videos, or captions I share with you for promoting the course. Please don’t edit them in a way that changes their meaning, and don’t use my name, photos, or logo for anything else.
9. Our relationship
You’re an independent affiliate, not my employee, agent, or business partner.
10. Taxes
You’re responsible for any taxes on what you earn. If Philippine law requires me to withhold tax from your commissions, I’ll ask for your details (such as your TIN) and withhold what’s required.
11. Leaving or being removed
You can leave anytime by emailing me at aleccuenca@gmail.com. Commissions you’ve already earned are still paid once their refund period passes.
If you break these terms, I can remove you from the program. I can also cancel any commissions linked to the breach that haven’t been paid yet.
12. Your information
How I handle your personal information is explained in the Affiliate Privacy Notice.
13. Changes to these terms
If I change these terms, I’ll update the date at the top and email you before the change takes effect. If you keep promoting after that, it means you accept the new terms.
Questions? Email me at aleccuenca@gmail.com.
Affiliate privacy notice
Last updated: October 19, 2026
This notice explains what personal information I collect when you join or take part in my affiliate program, why I collect it, and what you can do about it. I follow the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
Who I am
The affiliate program is run by me, Alec Cuenca. I decide how your information is used, and I’m the person to contact about it, including as data protection officer.
Email: aleccuenca@gmail.com
What I collect
When you apply:
- Your first and last name and email address.
- Your Instagram and TikTok handles (and YouTube channel, if you add it).
- Whether you’re a student of THE 24/7 EDITOR, and how you plan to share it.
- That you agreed to the affiliate terms and this notice, and that you’re 18 or older.
When you’re an affiliate:
- Your GCash name and number, so I can pay you.
- Your referral activity: the orders made through your link (order number, date, and amount), and the commissions you earn and are paid.
- A private access code for your dashboard. I only keep a scrambled version of it (a hash), so I can’t see the code itself.
- Your Tax Identification Number (TIN), only if the law requires me to withhold tax from your commissions.
- Any emails you send me about the program.
Why I use it
- To review your application and decide whether to approve it. If you say you’re a student, my system automatically checks my store’s orders for a paid course order under the email you gave. If it finds one, you’re approved right away. If not, I review your application myself.
- To track the sales you refer and work out your commissions.
- To pay you, and keep payment records as the law requires.
- To check that referrals follow the affiliate terms, for example that orders aren’t fake or self-made.
- To email you about the program, such as changes to the terms or your payouts.
I use your information because it’s needed to run the affiliate arrangement you sign up for, and to meet my legal duties (such as tax and bookkeeping). I don’t use it for anything else, and I don’t add you to my newsletter unless you sign up for it yourself.
About the buyers you refer
When someone clicks your link, their browser remembers it for 30 days (in the site’s storage, which works like a cookie) so the sale can be credited to you. Your dashboard shows only the date and amount of each sale, never the buyer’s name or contact details. Buyers’ details are handled under my store’s own privacy policy. Please don’t collect or share buyers’ personal information yourself.
Who else handles it
I don’t sell your information or share it with advertisers. These services help me run the program, and each one only gets what it needs to do its job:
- Netlify hosts the application form, the sales pages, and the affiliate dashboard, and stores your application and affiliate profile.
- Resend sends the automatic email with your affiliate links.
- Shopify runs my store and processes the orders your link brings in.
- GCash processes the payouts I send you.
- Google (Gmail) handles my email with you.
Some of these companies may store information outside the Philippines, including in the United States.
How long I keep it
If I decline your application, I delete it within 30 days. I keep your information while you’re an affiliate. If you leave or are removed, I delete your application and profile details within 30 days after your last commission is paid. Payment and tax records are kept for as long as Philippine tax law requires.
How I protect it
Only I have access to the affiliate records, and I use established services to store them. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, I’ll tell you and the National Privacy Commission, as the law requires.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to:
- be told how your information is used
- see the information I have about you
- correct it if it’s wrong
- object to its use, or withdraw your consent
- have it deleted or blocked (except records the law requires me to keep)
- get a copy in a common file format
- be compensated if your information is misused
- file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph
To use any of these, email me at aleccuenca@gmail.com.
Changes
If I change this notice, I’ll update the date at the top. If it’s a big change, I’ll let affiliates know by email.
